You wear one from a category at a time. What you are wearing is kept between sessions, so it is still on you the next time you log in.
Getting them
- Bought with tokens from the chest in the hub
- Pulled out of a crate, which hands over one you do not already own
Where they show
Cosmetics are a hub thing. None of them are worn during a game, so nothing anybody has bought can change how a fight in the Crucible goes.
Mounts
- Steered with your own keys
- Nothing can hurt, target or interfere with one
- Get off and it goes with you
- Undead mounts do not burn in daylight
